Baby towels spend a lot of time wrapped directly around warm, damp skin, so I wanted one made entirely from organic cotton rather than polyester or a synthetic blend. These lightweight and absorbent without feeling excessively bulky, which makes them especially practical during the newborn stage.
The Golden Bee design is printed rather than undyed, and Burt’s Bees Baby does not disclose the exact dyes used on the product page. I would not describe it as dye-free or specifically azo-dye-free. However, the towels are made from 100% organic cotton, making them a more natural and affordable alternative to many conventional baby towels made with polyester blends.
• Made from 100% organic cotton
• Hooded design helps keep baby warm after the bath
• Designed to resist pilling through repeated washing
• Each towel measures approximately 29 x 29 inches
• A practical and affordable organic cotton option for newborn baths
I'd prefer to know what the dying process was for these towels, however, I chose them anyway because of the price point. The materials and neutral colors made me feel like these were a reasonable middle ground without breaking the bank.
