Why We Chose It

Crib sheets spend hours directly against baby’s skin, so this is one of those places where choosing organic cotton feels especially worthwhile. This one is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton without being priced like a luxury nursery product.

It is not described as undyed, so I would not claim that it is dye-free. However, the GOTS certification includes meaningful restrictions on harmful dyes and textile-processing chemicals, making it a more reassuring option than a standard conventionally made sheet.

It is soft enough for everyday sleep, easy to wash and affordable enough that you can realistically keep a few on hand for middle-of-the-night sheet changes.

Real Talk

These are GOTS certified, which made me feel good about using them every night. I didn’t want to go super high-end here because crib sheets are something you really do want several pairs of for easy bed changes. Burt’s Bees doesn’t fully disclose their dyeing process, but the GOTS certification gives me a baseline standard for the main things I’d worry about. Not perfect, but good enough for us.
