Why We Chose It

Finding a baby carrier that works from the newborn stage through toddlerhood was surprisingly difficult. Finding one made without polyester mesh seemed nearly impossible. But this one fits the bill! 

The linen version is made from a blend of linen and cotton, creating a carrier that is extremely well constructed with no synthetic materials. It supports baby from 7 to 45 pounds with no infant insert required and offers four carrying positions as your baby grows. We also appreciate the thoughtful details like the privacy hood and built-in storage pockets. Drool Pads and Teething Pads are sold separately which are brilliant additions so that your expensive carrier doesn't get chewed to bits by your babe.

It's extremely easy to clip on when you need to wear your baby and can be adjusted in a pinch to fit whoever is carrying baby that hour.

Real Talk

If I could suggest only one baby item, it would probably be this carrier. My husband and I both use it every day, multiple times a day, and you can strap baby onto you in literally 15 seconds. I’ve never had a backache or neck ache from this thing — Ergobaby has clearly nailed the science of ergonomics. And the fabrics are ideal too: no weird polyester mesh against baby. Do yourself a favor and buy the Teething Pads too.
