Why We Chose It

Most baby play gyms are made from plastic and packed with overstimulating lights and sounds. We were drawn to the My Little Songbird Play Gym because of its plastic-free design, hand-made craftsmanship, and focus on developmental play.

Each play gym is handmade in Pennsylvania by a family-owned business and features a sturdy wooden frame with removable hanging toys designed to encourage reaching, grasping, and visual tracking. As baby grows, the toys can be moved to a stroller, car seat, or high chair for continued use beyond the newborn stage.

We also appreciate that the gym is designed to fold flat for easy storage or transport to grandma's house!

Real Talk

This is such a nice alternative to the loud plastic play gyms that make your living room feel like an arcade. I love that it’s simple but pretty enough to leave out. Yay for bringing back handmade toys!
